FORRME have successfully completed works on Croí Éanna, a project which involved the construction of a new-build two storey community sports facility. The new building contains a full size sports hall with first floor viewing gallery. Accommodation also includes seminar rooms, conference rooms, changing rooms and offices. The steel-framed building was constructed off pad and strip foundations and was constructed to a BREEAM Good standard. The building sits within the rugged landscape and is clad in a SILA larch with a sedum green roof to help it nestle amongst its natural surroundings.
Gaelscoil Éanna Primary School and Naomh Éanna Gaelic Athletic Club, making safety, security and minimising of disruption paramount. We also shared access with them throughout the project. Notably, Naomh Éanna ran a children’s GAA Cúl Camp during the summer of 2018. Rigorous health and safety measures were put in place and monitored, their success marked by zero accidents.
