Our aim is to help our clients create better buildings whilst leaving a positive legacy. We focus on key environmental, economic and social issues and collaborate with our peers to make a real difference to the built environment.
Key areas include energy efficiency and carbon; waste; sourcing products and services in a responsible and ethical way; water efficiency and being good neighbours. Through our community investment activities we aim to raise the aspirations of young people as well as creating local employment and training opportunities for those facing barriers to work. By integrating these principles throughout our projects, we can deliver more sustainable buildings for our customers and help to shape the communities around them.
In recognition of our success in this field, we were awarded the Sustainability Award at the CEF/Specify Construction Excellence Awards in 2013. In 2016, we were named National Champions at the Irish Green Apple Awards and also won a Bronze Award at the International Green Apple Awards. More recently, we won a Gold Award at the 2018 International Green Apple Awards, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to excellence in sustainability.
