Linen Green Complex, Moygashel

The Client

Jermon Developments Ltd.

FORRME was engaged to deliver a stand-alone extension to the complex.

On the site of a former Dye House, we constructed ten new retail units, together with offices, stores, circulation space and multi-use spaces.

Following remediation of contamination on the site, the substructures included a combination of contractor-designed CFA and precast piles. The building comprised a steel frame, with brick/stone infill and Kingspan cladding to the roof (overlaid with natural slates). 8m high curtain walling was also installed. In terms of siteworks, the project involved an extension to the existing carparking facilities and diversion of a 2m diameter culvert.

We were later retained by the Client to reconfigure some of the retail units into a new contemporary office space for PriceWaterhouseCooper. The project involved refurbishment, conversion and fit-out works to a prestigious, high-profile public building – all carried out within a live commercial/office complex.
